Setup does not start due to a floppy-disk controller problem.
Cause:
There is a problem with the floppy-disk controller.
Solution:
Open the MS-DOS prompt, and type COPY A:\*.* NUL
1) Insert the diskette in the floppy drive.
2) Open 'MS-DOS Prompt'.
3) Type the following, and press ENTER:
COPY A:\*.* NUL
(where 'A:\' is the letter designation of the floppy drive).
NOTE: The above command copies files to a NUL device.
4) Note any error messages that appear on the screen, and refer them to a qualified computer technician or next-level support.
